~ THE STILL SMALL VOICES PROJECT ~ |
|||||
The Still Small Voices project was conceived in 2002, with fieldwork beginning in early 2003. In 2006, photographer Marc Del Santro, project manager and co-founder, completed the first phase of this endeavor with the book WITH STILL SMALL VOICES THEY SPEAK: A journey into the heart of Georgia’s last wild places. Co-written and produced with writer Ann Foskey, this book beautifully documents 25 of Georgia’s more than 100 natural environments. The purpose of the Still Small Voices project is to educate and inspire Georgians to value and protect the remnants of our natural heritage and to give a voice to the state's last remaining wild places.
